Who should do this course?

This course is aimed at 3D designers, architects, interior designers, games producers and animators who have no previous experience of using 3D Studio Max.

What will delegates be able to do after completing this course?

Delegates will be able to migrate from 2D design to 3D animations to create photorealistic images, finally rendering sequences for 3D animations, multimedia productions, broadcast and the web.

Where does the training take place?

For the two days, students will be based at Manchester New Technology Institute (MNTI), situated within Manchester 's exciting new business development at Central Park . Through its innovative partnerships, this specialist centre harnesses the skills, experience and expertise of leaders in education, business and information technology to radically improve skills development in high technology fields. The ICT training suites at this centre are fully equipped with £1.36m of the most up to date equipment and software available. Facilities include programming and business information technology suites matched to commercial systems, three CISCO labs, wireless networking capabilities and Microsoft teaching suites.

The lead partners in Manchester NTI are MANCAT and Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU). Other partners include Manchester Enterprises, Manchester Science Enterprise Centre (MSEC), Manchester University , Salford University and other higher education institutes throughout the region.
In addition, it is supported by both local and multinational employers.

How much will it cost?

For a limited promotional period we are able to offer this two-day course at the highly competitive rate of £495. We are also offering an extra follow-on day, allowing delegates to select training in a specialist area from a range of options. The cost of the three-day course is £695.
