Computing and Programming Courses
The Manchester NTI website is now managed by The Manchester College. Our aim is to boost the regional supply of IT, management and enterprise skills and to transfer this knowledge to local businesses. We work in partnership with employers in industry, commerce and the public sector to influence the future of ICT training and, in particular, address skill shortages within the ICT and creative industries. Students can select from a large portfolio of industry focused programmes in computing, creative digital technologies as well as highly valued vendor-specific qualifications to complement academic development.
Our training suites are equipped with £1.36 m of the most up to date equipment and software available. We are a Cisco Supercollege (and Regional Academy) and also a Microsoft Regional Academy.

Manchester NTI is a Cisco Supercollege and Regional Academy; as such it offers a broad range of Cisco programmes. The fundamental qualification is the CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate, which is an industry standard networking qualification sought by many employers. Our portfolio also includes the highly sought after CCNP - Cisco Certified Networking Professional certification.
In addition Manchester NTI has Microsoft Regional Academy status. The Microsoft Certified Professional route allows achievement of Microsoft qualifications, such as Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA). Additional courses in wireless technologies, Unix, voice and data communications are also available.
We also deliver a range of courses from Microsoft and Oracle. Courses are delivered in Java, VB and C++ programming languages. These are delivered in a variety of formats that have been designed to respond to your operational needs. Training in operation systems such as Windows, Linux, Unix and Mac operating systems is also available. Tuition in open source programming, for example ASP and PHP, is available upon request.
We offer the opportunity to develop higher level computing and programming skills in the fields of applications, programming and systems analysis and design, at several levels varying from HNC to HND to foundation degree.
The Enterprise Computing Foundation Degree has been developed to meet a skills gap and provides vocationally based education in the ICT sector. The programmes include ORACLE for databases, CISCO for networking, Adobe Photoshop for multimedia and Microsoft Certified Professional for end user support.
