What's the course about?This course is aimed at candidates who are seeking to build upon their existing knowledge of digital software to enhance their understanding of web design and its applications for online design solutions. Candidates will focus on exploring creative responses to screen based design problems and working with industry-standard software applications to create professional design solutions.This is a fast running introductory course to Flash, which will include learning some ActionScripting for interactivity. Students will use appropriate software and develop online solutions in response to a brief. Students will develop a basic understanding of web animation and interactive functionality applied in a design context.
The course will be delivered through lectures, demonstrations and handouts. Students will be expected to hand in notebooks and rough sketches, developments recorded on disc and on-screen responses to the brief. How long is the course and when will it be taught?There are two attendance options:• Two-day intensive training course (9am - 4pm) • One evening per week (6pm - 9pm) for four weeks Where is the course taught?
